Discipleship

This special weekend is a continuation of the celebration of Paramhansa Yogananda's birthday (5 January), and focuses on the guru-disciple relationship. We'll explore how a Self-realized master can guide us to the peaks of spiritual realization, and what it means to be a "good" disciple.

We'll share inspiring stories from the life of Yogananda and his relationship with his guru, Swami Sri Yukteswar, and also stories of Swami Kriyananda's life with Yogananda.

There will be a devotional ceremony and kirtan Saturday evening, and the opportunity to take discipleship initiation, for those who wish.
