By Car

Ananda is located on “SS 444” between Assisi and Gualdo Tadino. Take the exit “S. Maria degli Angeli” (not Assisi) from Superstrada 75 which goes between Perugia and Foligno. Follow the blue road signs to Assisi and then to Gualdo Tadino. You will be on SS 444. Ananda is between the 17 and 16 km signposts, 4 km after the small town of San Presto.

Please note that Ananda is not in Nocera Umbra nor in Montecchio. Follow the above directions and you will find us right on the road between Assisi and Gualdo Tadino.

By Train

The Italian Railway has a very good website in English, http://www.trenitalia.it, where you can check the train schedules. (If you are coming from the Rome airport, enter “Fiumicino Aeroporto” for the name of the departing station. Assisi is the name of the arrival city.)

Ticket validation system: Train tickets must be validated by machines installed at the entrance to all train platforms. The machines are yellow and easy to find. If the machine is broken, just write the date and time on the end of the ticket yourself.

From the Assisi train station, you can take a taxi to our center, which is about 30 minutes away. The drivers offer special rates for Ananda: You should agree on the price before you leave the station.

Or you can take a bus from the train station to Piazza Matteoti in Assisi, where you catch the School Bus which leaves at 1:50 P.M. and 5:00 P.M., Monday – Friday, for Gualdo Tadino. Ask the driver to stop at Ananda.

By Plane

Economy companies now fly to Perugia, which is only 45 minutes away, and also to Ancona, Rome Fiumicino, Rome Ciampino and Florence.
